Kenya: ACTS/STEPS Manifesto Roundtable – morning discussions

On 4th December, the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) hosted a Manifesto roundtable at the ICRAF Campus, Nairobi, Kenya. The group included economists, representatives from business and local and international NGOs, civil servants and academics.

STEPS members Adrian Ely and Melissa Leach kicked off by presenting the project. After that, several participants shared their own approaches for linking science and technology to development goals.

In the afternoon session, the participants split up into groups to discuss Health, Food and Agriculture, and Science and Technology.
