The DIG-IT Workshop on Inclusive Growth, Innovation and Technology – co-sponsored by the STEPS Centre – promoted a unique forum for discussion of alternative and interdisciplinary frameworks to improve our understanding of the nexus between innovation, technological change, growth and inequalities within and between regions.
STEPS Centre co-directors Andy Stirling and Ian Scoones and members, Adrian Smith and Adrian Ely are spoke at the workshop, which took place at SPRU Science and Technology Policy Research, University of Sussex on 1-2 May 2013. The event organiser was Mariana Mazzucato, Professor in economics at the University of Sussex, where she holds the RM Phillips Chair in Science and Technology Policy.
