Our network of alumni brings together researchers from around the world with a direct connection to the STEPS Centre’s work.
The STEPS Alumni Association aims to help our 200-strong and growing and vibrant alumni group keep in touch with each other, as well as with the Centre. It includes our past MA and PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, Visiting Fellows, former STEPS researchers and participants in all of our annual Summer Schools.
Members receive a number of benefits, including an annual newsletter, and access to private Facebook and LinkedIn groups. There is also the option of becoming a member of the Institute of Development Studies Alumni Network.
Membership is by invitation only, but if you have any queries, please contact STEPS Communications & Impact manager Nathan Oxley.
The Alumni Association was launched in 2014 with a new STEPS Centre Working Paper, written by Summer School alumni Simon West, Jamila Haider, Hanna Sinare and Timothy Karpouzoglou. ‘Resilience and Pathways’ explores connections between the STEPS pathways approach and the resilience approach of the Stockholm Resilience Centre.
